This is the pandemic and quarantine album. I was working on a silent, peaceful Krautronica album when I was in the second heaviest turmoil of my life, all of a sudden. Some tracks were composed in sleepless nights in the hottest summer Germany ever experienced.

Many people all over the world were kept from traveling to places that feel like a temporary home to them. I was kept from going to Japan for university. Some people were kept from returning home. So this world-wide disruption felt like an exile to me, being forced by an invisible might to leave places that usually feel safe. That year was a constant escape and felt like a war with myself, most of the time.

Let's get this over with, hang in there, all together!
